Description:

This course provides new Cognos administrators with skills to understand the server architecture and to administer the server and content of the Cognos BI Analytics system. With presentation slides and high-level demonstrations, the instructor will show participants the various server and content components as well as real-life scenarios. It covers how to:

1. create data modules
2. subscribe and be notified of newly created report outputs
3. configure single server and multi-server installations
4. create an external object store
5. monitor server activities and metrics
6. assign object security and capabilities
7. configure data source connections and dispatchers
8. deploy content between environments and
9. customise the Cognos Analytics portal.
